A gentle, restorative class aimed to support deep rest. Suitable for all. If you are pregnant please advise me before the class as some adaptations may be needed.
The class is a wonderful blend of restorative yoga, yoga nidra, meditation and simple breath work designed to help your body and mind restore and rebalance.
“Receive the breath, receive the weight of the body, receive the moment. Give up ambition, give up movement, give up fear… and rest.” Judith Hanson Lasater
You can enjoy the class exactly as you wish - its useful to be in a warm room, wearing warm comfortable clothes and as undisturbed as possible within your household.
I will suggest some ways to use blankets, cushions and pillows and maybe a chair to support you - you can choose to try these positions out, or just rest as you wish - sitting or lying down is fine. Feel free to lie on your bed or sofa as long as you are comfortable (just be aware you may fall asleep here!)
Useful things to have available are:
- an eye pillow or scarf
- plenty of cushions and blankets
- a yoga bolster or a pillow folded in half and wrapped in a blanket or towel to make a bolster shape.
- yoga blocks and bricks if you have them
- a long soft belt or scarf can also be useful
- warm socks
- a sturdy chair such as a dining chair (not an office chair with wheels) can also be useful
The teacher only will be recorded whilst teaching this class - the recording of the class will be uploaded to the Breathing Space Yoga Content Library on Punchpass a day or so after the class has taken place.
Please make sure that you reserve onto the live zoom class so that you receive the link to watch them live. They will be available on the content library a day or two after the class.
There are no refunds for this pass.
